Review of Patton (1970) by Calvin C — 04 May 2013
Best Picture Winner of 1970. This biopic about General George S. Patton is one of the best war films ever with George C. Scott giving one of the most commanding performances in film history. Not only is this a great war movie, but it is also a great character study about a man who was obsessed with outsmarting his opponent and making sure they knew it. No cowards here.
Grade: A-.
