Danielle MacDonald is great in this movie, and I hope to see her in more roles in the future, and the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous as well (one of the better shot films of 2017), but its conventional filmmaking and its weird stylistic choices here and there really do hurt this film because by the end it feels all to predictable.
I doubt we'll remember Patti Cake$.
