I am from Boston, born in Dorchester. I was there when it happened but wasn't affected by the impact. My runner hadn't made it yet and didn't get the chance to finish. I like Mark and anything from Boston. The film was good and felt authentic but its hard to capture organic Bostonians. He faced a lot of opposition and criticism right from the start.
I remember this tragedy very well. It was chaos while I was working while the city was in lockdown mode. Watertown was a ghost town and Newbury Street more dead than at 4 am on any given day.
