I was in Boston at the time of the bombing following the nail-biting events as they unfolded on the local news channels..The movie depicted the actual facts without adding undue sensationalism and special effects.
They stuck to the story. An especially heartwarming and nice touch was the addition of actual footage and actual victims at the end. They also brought you up to date con certain facts that are pertinent to today.
Mark Wahlberg didn't excellent job.
