Peter berg and mark whalberg deliver another BOATS thriller that spares no expense and leaves nothing ignored. based on the real life tragedy at the 2013 Boston marathon, patriots day not only tells the tale of the courageous first respondents, but also shows an example of what happens when people come together as one, this is rare in a BOATS movie.
berg and whalberg are on to something here.
