Decent but nowhere near as great as he book. The main bad guy in the film was too "thuggish" compared to is written counterpart who was always calm and collected. They killed people too early or killed people that never die (kind of like Troy) and the whole plot in the movie felt very rushed as if they just wanted to get it over with.
If you ever consider watching this movie at least read the book first.
