When comparing with the movie from Tom Clancy novels before, The Hunt for Red October, this movie would have lost badly. But, if you try to watch in general, is fairly decent movie, displaying a complex political elements and refreshed with exciting action and suspense.
But, in my opinion, with the composition of such a film was still not solid. Initially, this movie was pretty good at combining politics and action elements, but when Jack Ryan led the effort to save his family from terrorist threats, this movie is only a regular action movie.
It was not the fault of this movie, but the slovenliness of the Tom Clancy novel. Yeah, but in terms of adaptation, the film is still worthy to watch!!
