Upshot: "The 'extremists' are dividing the country and the poor, reasonable President is tormented in the middle. He didn't have anything to do with it. He was just there.".
You can watch this documentary 10 times and end up with more clearer understanding of why this country seems more divided than it was...say, when Reagan was in office. Oh! You don't remember that? Me neither.
