Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Kevin H — 07 Sep 2008
Stumbled across this late night on tv a few months back. A fantastic film which merely serves to underline the incompatence of the generals involved in the 1st world war and the cost that their decisions made on the ordinary men who founght under their command.
I don't want to give too much away but this serves as a nice riposte to the usual bombast that characterises war films.
