Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Chris E — 12 Jul 2009
An incredibly well made war film, the sheer scale and ingeniuty of the cinematography is hugely impressive (even more so for 1957). A tense, well-acted and gripping film, it sort of frizzels out towards the end, but it's a minor niggle in an otherwise decent flick.
