Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Caleb M — 13 Jul 2011
Most ironic title ever?
Paths of Shame is more like it. One of the greatest, and truly most ANTIwar films ever made, Paths of Glory is a shocking, spellbinding, and devastating look at the horrors war produces both on and off the battlefield. A truly heartbreaking film, but one who's ending thankfully provides some hope.
