An amazing look at not just the suffering and other pains of war (Which the Taking the Ant Hill scene displays quite effectively) but it shows the unfairness and chance that is involved. In wars it comes down to having luck as well as other skills in order to survive but much of war relies solely on luck.

The three men chosen as an example have the worst luck possible and after an intense court scene and battle on Colonel Dax's part, the men are just another example of the tragedy in war. While it isn't an easy watch, it's one that is worth the price.

Highly Recommended!
