Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Akshay M — 17 Dec 2014
Paths of glory is Stanley Kubrick's first masterpiece and greatest anti-war movie ever made. Kirk Douglas provides an stellar performance as righteous colonel who fights for the sake of humanity against his corrupt general over shooting his own soldiers to set up an example among them of being cowardice in almost impossible mission of anthill during world war 1.
It's astounding to even think that Kubrick made this movie in 1957, that's why he is hailed as a genius.
