Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Carlos R — 16 Sep 2010
87 minutes of cinematic perfection, and technically one of Kubrick's best. Maybe one of his most human films, it tells a powerful and sad story about corruption and injustices in the US Army during the World War I.
It had outstanding dialogues included in a wonderful script. And the performances were brilliant absolutely by every actor. It's told in a very quick way, which makes it even more interesting and compelling.
A beautiful ending with a strong Anti-War message, that didn't need many words to transmit the idea.
