Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Daniel S — 05 Mar 2011
With this, I've seen all of Kubrick's films, and he never ceases to disappoint. This was a very good film in all ways possible. Acting- Douglas was good as a col. who has the backs of his men, Macready as the evil general, menjou as the high ranking officer.
Story- it kept me involved throughout, I cared about everyone and was angered by all the injustices. It also has good cinematography, a Kubrick trademark.
