Review of Paths of Glory (1957) by Mithil B — 12 Feb 2012
I thought that I wouldn't be surprised before watching this movie because I knew Stanley Kubrick's style of movie making and loved most of them. But I was wrong. Kubrick's Paths of Glory was completely different and had a odd but wonderful feeling about it.
Kubrick's movies have always been too complex for the Oscars to consider. That's because he is a true visionary director and knew so much about the world that he even went in outer space! Don't miss this classic war movie.
Ingenious.
