MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD: Sometimes when I'm watching a movie, I get the feeling the only reason a director or the producers are interested in making this film is because of ONE SCENE and one scene only - and that scene is so cool to them that they totally lose focus on the rest of the film, because they know it's building to THAT SCENE.

Baz Luhrman's "Australia" felt like one of those films to me (I won't go into why here), and this is another movie that (to me at least) feels like it's hanging on the thread of just one scene.

And I'm going to spoil that scene right now, so if you don't want to know, please... STOP READING. The scene involves a dead and fully naked Alyssa Milano lying on a slab in a mortuary... her medical student boyfriend gently slices her chest open and peels the skin back.

.. and he cuts out her heart so he can keep it for himself. How romantic! The movie itself is such trash that I'm not going to bother mentioning anything else apart from that one scene - it is a little cinematic moment that will stay with me now for the rest of my life, and the director and producers can feel proud that they managed to commit that scene to film.

It's a pity about the rest of the movie.
