The mind boggles as to just how this low-rent gore and porn flick ever merited a cinematic release as it screams awfulness from every pore.

Milo Ventriloquist, or whatever the hell his name is, takes time out from acting like a simpering dweeb on Heroes to act like a simpering dweeb student doctor drawn into a macabre game with fellow deranged students of murdering folk then trying to fox their mates with how the killing was committed.

Milo's persuasion to join in with the cool kids is not plausible at all. His character is credited with having some intelligence so it seems all to easy fro him to just start offing random folk in the name of peer pressure. His character is not likeable in the slightest and that's a big drawback in these kind of films. How are we supposed to find the villains disgusting for their habits when we hate the supposed hero?.

The rest of the film is formulaic, there are no surprises in the story and no tension at all. The film leans heavily on it's use of med students cutting up bodies and scenes of nasty sex, all of which the film could have functioned without.

Pathology is a nasty little film. It's clearly hoping to cash in on Milo's Heroes fame and the rapidly interest losing gorno genre but this is an unpleasant watch which no enjoyment can be derived from whatsoever.
