Review of Pathfinder (2007) by Duncan G — 25 Jun 2008

This was an enjoyable enough romp, with plenty of action, and Karl Urban did a good job as lead actor, playing the stoic, tortured hero well. My only criticism is that the vikings invaders were painted as completely evil with no redeeming features whatsoever.

But I suppose this is a film of broad strokes rather than subtle observations, so maybe I'm being a bit harsh. If you like action movies with a taste for gore, then this is the film for you.
