Review of Pathfinder (2007) by W Terry A — 21 Aug 2010
A classic good vs. evil story using Native Americans and Viking Marauders to represent these archetypes. Given that, the story is pretty straight forward with no real surprises. The true selling points here were the costume design and action.
I love armor and this movie has an outstanding (if not fanciful) array. I also enjoy that the pre-Columbus Native Americans speak English while the Vikings are subtitled. Don't know why, it just amuses me.
Over all, its a good sword and board action flick that I've seen about six times to date.
