Review of Pathfinder (2007) by Simeon M — 09 Nov 2010
This flick is about kicking back and enjoying some brutal Viking vs. Native American violence. - Taking a few cues from 300 and Apocalypto, Pathfinder launches into a dark, bloody, and gratuitous plot about a Norse child who is raised by native Americans and grows up to fight Viking raiders.
Mostly cliche, thin-plot, but heavy enough on style and action to be enjoyable. There's one or two notably good twists, but overall a forgettable movie in the action/epic genre. Its a guys movie, from beginning to end.
