Blood and guts galore with this one, and the final voice over was a strange way to end the flick. This is a hardcore action movie with hardly any else other than the immediacy of getting away from brutal, animalistic Norsemen! The lighting is moody and bleak, which lends to the menacing aspect of the villains.
As far as a bloody battle movie goes, this is just as good as any if you don't expect the touching emotion of Braveheart.
