I saw the second movie in the Apu trilogy, "Aparajito," first and I liked it a little bit more but "Pather Panchali" is still undoubtedly an Indian masterpiece by Satyajit Ray.
An extremely poignant and beautiful film about a poor Brahmin family that suffers through unrelenting poverty and tragedy.
