The emperor isn't wearing any clothes. Occasionally I find myself in a film wondering when is this thing going to end. And there 2 hours left! That's Paterson. Its a drama with no drama. Its a comedy with only sporadic chuckles.
Adam Driver is likeable enough as the titular bus driver in Paterson NJ. The moment of the camera is truly top level work. But the pacing is leaden, and outdone in atrociousness by the nowhere story and the clumsy construction.
