I saw this movie with friends who thought it was a jolly jape about a bus-driver tootling around New Jersey. For me it was a very disturbing film about a war veteran and his partner struggling to make it from one day to the next.
"I don't like you, Marvin." made me think "Christ, he's going to kill the dog!".
