Review of Patch Adams (1998) by Robin E — 02 Mar 2014
Robin Williams plays a doctor who uses unique methods to make patients laugh and have some fun despite what the established way of doing medicine says. He tries to humanize things. No one believes in him, but when he is able to get some of the more unfriendly patients to give in, people start giving him some credit.
He eventually opens up his own facility to do affordable care. A pretty good movie. Does about what you would expect. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is his roommate and uptight student who doesn't get used as much as he should.
I liked this for a good uplifting story.
