It's been years since I've seen Patch Adams, and I really enjoyed it in spite of what most critics said. It's so heartwarming, emotional, and humorous. This is why I love true stories. Oscar winners Robin Williams and Philip Seymour Hoffman, along with Monica Potter, were great with their performances.
What I also liked about the movie is that it doesn't overdo it with the comedy. Watch out for pre-Firefly Alan Tudyk in a bit role as a mental patient.
