Review of Patch Adams (1998) by Curren W — 14 Oct 2009
Fuck the critics; I love this movie! It's a wonderfully written film about how doctors should help increase the quality of life instead of just delaying death. About how making a true connection with the patient helps you gain their trust and respect.
About the spirit of helping others instead of just following some stupid code. It's hilarious, it has plenty of spirit, and Robin Williams is at his best IMHO. Like most Robin Williams films, this one is highly under appreciated.
