I watched the 2005 Special Edition version of this Sam Peckinpah Western and I quite enjoyed it. I liked both Kristofferson and Coburn in it, and there's a ton of great character actors I like in supporting roles such as: Harry Dean Stanton, Jason Robards, Slim Pickens, Jack Elam, and more.
Bob Dylan has a supporting role and also composed the soundtrack which is quite good. This would make a great double-bill with "The Wild Bunch". Check it out.
