Review of Passport to Pimlico (1949) by James G — 18 Aug 2007
Frequently hilarious and quietly subsersive comedy about post-war rationing & austerity. Bomb-cratered, post-war London basking in a sweltering summer now seems strangely exotic! Fantastic cast and dialogue.
