Review of Passion (2013) by Tom V — 03 Sep 2013
80's feeling in style and execution (despite copious use of modern technology), Brian DePalma's remake of a mediocre film doesn't even improve on the source material, just adds a pointless split-screen section and fudges the central crime, and increases the bisexual vibe.
Rachel McAdams is terrible; she appears to be playing an ever so slightly more mature version of the character she played in Mean Girls. At least Noomi Rapace is respectable, but the material she is given is far beneath her.
A very bizarre, cheap film.
