Review of Passengers (2016) by Futuristic E — 11 Nov 2017
I was looking forward to Passengers because it starred the oscar winning Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt who has been a legend since Guardians of the Galaxy, But now I'm not sure what to say about this one...
Acting: these two have a bit of chemistry, but sometimes things don't work out with the 2 of them, in one bit when Aurora was on an Outburst,.
That's how it gets to me, when will they're chemistry come back?
And Lawrence Fishburne is in the film as well except he dies within 25 minutes.
Directing: Dissapointing, all the director wanted to do is to make the film complicated as possible, streaking up the last part of the film.
Writing: Fine, It kind of made sense...
The film talks about waking up after 50 years when trying to get their memories back and making the world a better place.
Plot: I analysed so much that beyond the ability I could barely stand the way I found a couple parts romantic, that's what the film was meant to be about, the Science Fiction/Fantasy/Drama like that can't be ignored.
Computer Generated Imagery (CGI): Decent, with one part I didn't know how to feel.
Overall: It was mediocre, mildly enjoyable, had a lot of climaxes that reach the top of the target, I found it pretty fascinating to watch except when it comes to the fact that it didn't do great at the box office, I consulting figure that this wasn't as good as Assassins Creed, even though that was a disappointment two but was more of a major success and did even better at the box office.
I'm going to give Passengers a C, could have done better.
The kind of malfunction prototypes that could imagine the key to heaven but with all that romance I can't guarantee it would be my type of movie.
Just saying... I'm glad I saw it because January I saw 2 before Split my most anticipated film of the month, It's good to go to the cinemas often instead of staying at home all day.
