It's so bad that it's good! You haven't seen this much fabulousness at one time since the actual Club Kids days back in the mid 80's to mid 90's... While the story has been edited a bit and camped up, through everything I've researched on the subject matter it seems to stick to the true events rather well.
Plus, it's a well-known cast, and you can't go wrong with Macaulay Culkin!
