Review of Parkland (2013) by Maureen R — 24 Oct 2013
I usually fall asleep when I go to the cinema, so the fact that this had be transfixed to the screen for the entire duration of the movie says a lot. I found it deeply moving and even though I of course knew the story, I found myself holding my breath at the scenes in the hospital when JFK was brought in.
The scenes with the young doctor who tried to save his life were very well done and I really did feel like I was there. Excellent movie that showed the effect of this traumatic event on the ordinary people who found themselves involved in it.
