Review of Parkland (2013) by Charlie S — 24 Nov 2013
Parkland is told from the unique POV of characters like Lee Harvey Oswald's brother, the doctors and nurses who tried to save Kennedy, Abraham Zapruder, etc. It's cool to get that alternate perspective from people who were right there when it happened.
And the film really lays out the emotional punches. But the whole movie is just another JFK assassination movie. It doesn't add to the story, it doesn't change our idea of what happened, and it's more or less unnecessary.
