Review of Parkland (2013) by Kilo D — 21 Oct 2013
A waste of a decent idea with the only highlight being the scenes with and the performance by Paul Giamatti. The photography is worse than amateur, it's annoying--on the bright side, it gives struggling cinematographers hope that they can get some work if the Mr.
Ackroyd can. The narrative is also flimsy and has no momentum and what's with Billy Bob Thornton looking and giving as much energy as William s Burroughs? A mess that's not even interesting to JFK 'conspiracy theorists' such as myself.
Avoid, avoid and go see "Gravity".
