Review of Paris, Texas (1984) by Neil K — 21 Nov 2007
I love movies with great scripts and storylines that are outside the mainstream. This tale of a guy with memory loss who searches for the mother of his child so he can reunite them is one of the best movies of the 1980s.
Ry Cooder's soundtrack sets the mood perfectly. The scene with Harry Dean Stanton and Nastassia Kinski is brilliantly paced and very powerful.
