Review of Paris, Texas (1984) by Connor P — 05 Mar 2009
Liked it as a college student; loved it later as a parent. The cinematography blows me away. I love the work with light and mirrors. The juxtaposition of silence, dialogue, and quasi-soliloquy creates wonderful contrast, and strangely put images in my head that I later thought I'd seen with my eyes (in the film).
Favorite line: "Left, Dad.".
