A great, beautiful movie. Everyone loves Harry Dean Stanton, and for me, this is the ultimate Harry Dean Stanton movie. Yep, itâ??s a slooooow flick. But the haunting mystery of Stantonâ??s drifter propels the audienceâ??s interest and thereâ??s that burning mood that seems to pulse from the filmâ??s negative.
Dean Stockwell is excellent as the protective brother and Hunter Carson is one of the finest child actors Iâ??ve encountered. VF.
