Review of Paris, Texas (1984) by Christopher B — 16 Apr 2010
To my shame, I only just watched this for the first time. Needless to say, I was blown away by this beautifully shot film about a man coming to terms with himself. Someone was telling me that the final monologue Harry Dean Stanton gives in the booth was made up and recited to Stanton on the spot by Sam Shepard after the scripted monologue wasn?t working.
Amazing.
