More powerful with every watch. Unfortunately I can't rate this any higher.
Beautiful imagery of the US South West, with a hypnotic soundtrack from Ry Cooder whose haunting slide guitar fits perfectly with both the visuals and mirrors the minds of the characters. Perhaps my favourite movie soundtrack of all time.
