With wonderful story, at times sad, at times funny, with greatly developed characters, with extraordinary and moving performances (especially that of Nastassja Kinski) and with exquisite dialogue, Paris, Texas is one of those films that you can see are not from Hollywood, realistic and meaningful, and it is one of the rare film from the 80s that deserve the classic status.
