Review of Paris Je T'aime (2006) by Ashley B — 09 Mar 2010

I loved this! It was like bringing an entire week of film festival into my living room. 18 different shorts, all by different directors, but tied together by a central theme and shown one after another.... Fabulous! Some shorts were not as artistic and entertaining aas others, but I can appreciate the effort nonetheless.

My favorite to least favorite:

1- Faubourg Saint-Denis by Tom Tyker (the blind guy/actress scene) natalie portman.

2- Tulieres by the Coen Brothers (the american tourist getting mugged and making out) steve buschemi.

3 - Le marais by Gus Van Sant (the boy on boy scene).

4 - Pere Lachaise by Wes Craven (the Oscar Wilde scene) rufus sewell emily mortimer.

5 - Loin du 16'eme by Walter Sales and Daniela Thomas (the girl leaving her baby to go babysit for a rich family) catalina sandino moreno.

6 - Quartier des Enfants Rouges by Olivier Assayas (the American actress in France and the hash) maggie gylenhaal.

7 - Quartier de la madeleine by Vincent Natali (the vampire scene) elijah wood.

8 - Place des Victories by Nobuhiro Suwa (the man/horse/grieving mother scene) juliet binoche/willem defoe.

9 - Quais de Seine by Gurinder Chadha (the muslim girl/college boy scene).

10 - Place des Fetes by Oliver Schmitz (the dying guitarist/paramedic scene).

11 - Bastille by Isabel Coxiet (the red coat scene).

12 - Porte de Choisy by Chirstopher Doyle (the hair dresser/model scene).

13 - Quartier Latin by Frederic Auburtin and Gerard Depardieu (the divorce/dinner scene) gena rowlands.

14 - Tour Eiffel by Sylvian Chomet (the mime scene).

15- Parc monceau by Alfonso Cuaron (the Nick Nolte scene).

16 - montmarte by Bruno Podalydes (the opening scene).

17 - Pigalle by Richard LaGravenese (the old/failed marriage business scene) Bob Hopskins.

18- 14th Arrondisement by Alexander Payne (the American woman alone in Paris).
