Review of Paris Je T'aime (2006) by Kelley B — 28 Sep 2010
I have to say, this movie started off very uninteresting, but when the Coen brothers short film played(starring Steve Bushemi), I loved every short film so on and so forth. The movie is so powerful, and we don't really need to know these characters.
Some of the short films were very realistic, while others focused on amazing visuals, and laughs. The best short film involved a strugling musician/janitor, who gets stabbed and is on the verge of the death, and every moment of that short film is so wonderful and emotional.
Also, Elijah Wood and Natalie Portmans short films were just phenominal as well. The last short film was not the best, but very fitting, and sad at the same time. Though there's many subtitles in this film, it's still pretty extraordinary and powerful.
8.4/10.
