Review of Paris Je T'aime (2006) by Joel C — 03 May 2012
A beautiful anthology of short films centered around my favorite place on Earth, Paris. Not all of the films are winners and the narrative is often messy and inconsistent, but the many directors involved did an excellent job crafting these everyday little characters and the small but significant events that unfold in their lives.
It was just wonderful seeing the different artistic qualities of each. This film heavily lies on it's setting though and I think if it wasn't set in the city of lights, the film would largely be a failure.
But overall this film is a gem and is a delightful little experience.
