Review of Paris Je T'aime (2006) by Lee M — 24 May 2012
A compilation of several short films (about 5 mintues each), by different directors, each one telling a love story (all different types of love) taking place in a different neighborhood of Paris. It's amazing what can be done in that amount of time. There was only one that I didn't like at all, and there were several that were amazing, in that so much could be conveyed in such a short period of time.
My personal favorite was the story involving the woman with the red coat (I can't recall the director). Of the romantic stories, I thought it was the most true or pure representation.
Light-hearted, funny, charming, sweet, and sometimes heart-breaking, this is a definite must see for anyone who is a fan of film and storytelling.
