Review of Paris Is Burning (1991) by Mark L — 24 Oct 2007
It's a documentary about being a queen in New York in the '80's when most New Yorkers did not want them there. They are lost, but they have found each other. Some of them make it, most of them don't.
Never-the-less, it is a tribute to those who are different who dont care that they are different, and are down right proud that they are different. Dorian Corey has tid bits of wisdom that seem to come from the center of the universe it's self.
I love this movie.
