I'm pretty sure this was released here in 1987!
It was a mindblowing film then so I thought I'd give it another watch. It's just as brilliant still and hasn't lost any of it's impact.
Nana Patekar gives his best performance in a commercial film. Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff are both at their peak, and it's probably the best film this pair made.
The style of the film was a first for its time and has been the inspiration for lots of films that have come after.
SUPERB.
