Really well directed, honest, raw and energetic flick about a young gay black girl, from a good home, bewildered at the decisions she must make about herself, her life and her future. Standard coming-out narrative, but done with great heart and intelligence.
Alternates between very intense and very sweet. Dynamic affecting breakout performance from Adepero Oduye.
