This movie tells how many have dealt with coming out to your family, especially in the black community. Not all stories are embraced and some have been acted out just like this in Pariah. Kim Wayans performance in this movie was superb, she relayed the emotions and words of many of mothers who've gone through this with their children.
This movie is very poignant and beautiful.....
